Hi! I’m Jenkin, and I want to share my journey and vision with you. Since graduating from Finance and Management at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, I jumped straight into finance industry as a management trainee and quickly worked my way up to senior leadership roles – all before turning 30. Those years taught me the value of hard work, adaptability, and innovative thinking in fast-paced business environments, where real-world skills often differ from what we learn in school.
My career has been truly global. I began by building experience in Asia’s dynamic business scene and later moved to North America to run my own ventures. In the past six years, I’ve launched three (and counting!) new ventures across different industries – from online educational platforms to brick-and-mortar businesses. I founded WonderMaple Inc., an education consultancy which helping over 2,500 students secure admissions to top colleges worldwide, and we have become the top recruiter of several public institutions in Canada.
Under my leadership (and a bit of social-media savvy), the consultancy grew into a digital media firm supporting local businesses with marketing and business development. I’ve also dived into sustainable food innovation by introducing Toronto’s first plant-based bobba café, named NUTTEA Toronto by replacing dairy with nut-based “mylk” – an innovation that earned recognition from BlogTO and other media. In 2025, I have developed EduviXor as an innovative AI EdTech SaaS platform providing personalized education and career planning tools, achieving over thousands of new monthly users globally at the second month of Product Hunt launch.
These ventures share a common thread: Ongoing innovation and a drive to solve real-world problems. These experiences allow me to navigate different markets and cultures. This international experience means I bring a broad perspective to everything I do. I’ve managed to spot opportunities and challenges in the global landscape, and I’ve built a network of mentors and peers around the world. Most importantly, I learned to embrace change and think outside the box, qualities that I believe are essential in today’s rapidly changing world.
Currently, I am a business mentor of Futurpreneur Canada & Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council, helping internationally trained professionals build new businesses and career. I’ve had the opportunity to support startup founders to build their businesses from stratch and newcomers navigating the local job market by unspoken realities of workplace culture, career strategy, and professional networking.
One of my most fulfilling accomplishments has been using my experience to empower students in their academic and career journeys. I personally mentored thousands of students by guiding them in finding their passions, strengthening their college applications skills and planning for their careers. Seeing those young people achieve their dreams is what inspired me to keep pushing further in the education space.
I took that mission to the next level by spearheading a new educational technology venture called EduviXor. EduviXor is a first-in-market, AI-powered platform designed to give students data-driven academic and career planning insights. In plain terms, it’s an AI tool that analyzes a student’s interests, strengths, academic profile, and the latest industry trends to produce a customized solution for them – highlighting potential career paths, the skills they’ll need, and educational recommendations to thrive in the AI age. I launched EduviXor because I recognized that traditional guidance methods weren’t keeping up with the world’s fast pace. The platform was even featured in major press like Yahoo Finance and Morningstar for its innovative approach.
As I mentioned in an interview, “EduviXor is more than a platform—it’s a transformative tool for anyone striving to make confident, informed decisions in today’s AI-driven world… Our mission is to empower students and parents with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed in a competitive global environment.” This blend of personalized AI guidance with human mentorship is something I’m incredibly proud of, because it means we can help each learner discover their best path forward.
By building successful businesses, I’ve been fortunate to achieve a level of financial independence and flexibility in my life. Today, I enjoy what I call “financial, time, and location freedom.” In practical terms, this means I have the freedom to work when, how, and where I want. I can spend my time on projects I’m passionate about (like JuniorCEO!) and with the people I love, rather than being tied to a 9-to-5 office routine. Whether I’m in North America or traveling around the world to visit my friends or explore new opportunities, my work can come with me. This kind of freedom was one of my personal goals when I set out on my entrepreneurial journey, and achieving it has been incredibly rewarding. It allows me to continuously learn, create, and give back, all on my own terms. I mention this because it’s not just about personal lifestyle – it’s proof of what’s possible when someone develops an entrepreneurial skillset and mindset. I wish to inspire young people (and their parents) by showing that with the right skills and determination, they too can design a life that isn’t confined by a traditional path.
Despite all the advancements we see in society, many of us observed a worrying gap in our education system: traditional schools are not fully preparing children for the challenges and opportunities of the AI age. The world is changing rapidly, yet most schools still follow an old model. In fact, traditional education systems often fail to align students’ academic journeys with evolving career opportunities. This mismatch leaves many young people feeling uncertain about their future. We’re at a point in history where technology – especially artificial intelligence – is reshaping industries faster than curricula can adapt. As an education expert warned recently, “merely equipping students with basic literacy and numeracy skills is no longer sufficient… we risk preparing a generation that is not only unprepared for the future but is also alarmingly replaceable.”
That is a scary thought for any parent (and as someone who mentors youth and young adults, it scares me too!).
I founded JuniorCEO out of a deep passion to bridge this gap. It’s my belief that today’s children need more than what traditional classrooms offer – they need real-world skills, a creative (and an entrepreneurial) mindset, and be technological savvy to thrive in the coming decades. With the development of AI, many large organizations are already laying off employees of various departments from programming to human resources. The world is changing, it's simply not enough just by sending our children to coding and other STEM courses.
Even leaders in the tech world echo this sentiment. Demis Hassabis, the CEO of Google DeepMind and a pioneer in AI, said that “the purpose of education must shift from knowledge retention to cognitive agility.” In other words, our kids must learn how to learn, think critically, and adapt, rather than just memorize facts. Unfortunately, in many schools, the emphasis is still on rote learning and standardized tests, which do little to nurture a child’s innate creativity or resilience.
At JuniorCEO, I’m determined to do things differently. Our programs are designed to complement (and go beyond) traditional education by focusing on the skills and experiences that truly prepare children and teens for the future. Here’s how our approach compares to a traditional school experience:
All these differences add up to one big goal: to future-proof our children. I often say that JuniorCEO isn’t just another after-school tutorial program – it’s a response to a changing world. I firmly believe that by exposing kids to entrepreneurship, critical thinking, and technology early on, we can give them a significant head start. Instead of fearing automation and rapid change, they’ll be ready to harness those forces to their advantage. We want our students to become the confident problem-solvers and innovators of tomorrow. As I’ve seen through my own ventures and through mentoring youth, when young people are given the right tools and mindset, their potential is limitless.
Running successful businesses in various fields has been an incredible learning journey for me, and now my mission is to pay it forward to the next generation. I’m bringing all that experience into JuniorCEO’s programs to help your children reach their goals and be truly future-ready. This isn’t just about teaching business concepts – it’s about shaping mindsets. When a student joins JuniorCEO, they will benefit from the lessons I learned climbing the corporate ladder and launching startups. Our programs will guide them through hands-on exercises like brainstorming solutions to real problems, developing leadership skills in team projects, and learning how to bounce back from failures (something I had to do many times as an entrepreneur!). If a strategy worked in my own journey, I incorporate it into our teaching. If a certain skill (like effective communication or digital marketing) proved critical in one of my ventures, I make sure our JuniorCEO kids get to practice it in a fun, age-appropriate way.
Moreover, through my network I’ve built over the years, I plan to connect JuniorCEO students with inspiring mentors and role models. Since I’ve been fortunate to mentor young entrepreneurs and to lead a community of young professionals and entrepreneurs, and I’ve seen the impact that real mentorship can have on a young person’s growth. At JuniorCEO, your child won’t just be learning from a textbook; they’ll be learning from real entrepreneurs and industry professionals who can share insights about what’s happening out there in the world. This kind of exposure can light a spark in a child – I’ve watched it happen, and it’s amazing.
I want to emphasize that my commitment to your child goes beyond just academic or career success. It’s about confidence and character. The fast pace of the AI age can be intimidating, even for adults. By equipping kids with a forward-thinking mindset and resilience, I aim to build their confidence so that they can navigate any challenge that comes their way. When I see a JuniorCEO student fearlessly present a new idea, or eagerly tackle a project that involves learning a new technology, I know we’re doing something right. My promise is that I will do everything I can to help your child not only reach their goals, but also discover who they are and what they can achieve in a future full of possibility.
I am incredibly excited about what the future holds for our JuniorCEO family. Every child has the potential to become a leader, an innovator, or a business founder in their own right. With the world changing so rapidly, it’s critical to start early in giving them the mindset, skills, and support they need. Traditional schooling has its merits, but it often cannot keep up with the demands of tomorrow’s world. That’s why I pour my heart into JuniorCEO – because I know our children deserve an education that evolves as quickly as the world around them.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about me and why I started JuniorCEO. I invite you to join us on this journey. Together, we can empower your child to dream big, adapt to anything, and lead with confidence in the age of AI and beyond. I look forward to partnering with you and seeing your child thrive as a Junior CEO or a leader of their own future!
What parents & Students are saying
See how young minds are inspired
You definitely won’t find these kinds of lessons in school lah. Bokki’s teachers also not trained to teach things like this! The online sessions are easy to follow and really spark his curiosity. Very good stuff — we’re impressed!
This program really helps me turn my ideas into actual projects, and I feel super motivated to take the lessons for 1–2 hours every week. It’s a great way to build up my high school portfolio and do something different from regular academics.
I like to spend my free time creating things, and the sessions on marketing and digital media have been a game changer — they've really helped me figure out how to turn my hobby into a proper side hustle.
The projects and programs are definitely fun and practical, and Alice is more confident and creative after joining. I would say we are lucky to have joined the JuniorCEO program
